About Simply Delicious
Hi, my name’s Kathy and I set up Simply Delicious in 2007 to share my passion for locally sourced and seasonal food with like minded people in Guildford.
Having started life as a Marine Engineer I retrained as a chef in 2006 gaining a double distinction for my Cordon Bleu Diploma from the Tante Marie School of Cookery.
During the course I worked at both Pennyhill Park Hotel and Loch Fyne to supplement the theory with the reality of life in a real kitchen and once graduated joined the michelin starred Drakes on the Pond as Sous Chef where I refined my skills learning and appreciating the finer touches that make up a michelin starred meal.
I am passionate about using only ingredients are of the highest quality, locally sourced where possible and will recommend a menu using seasonal produce so that you can enjoy the fullest of flavours whatever your celebration.
